Daniela Ljungsberg returns to HaZira Theatre for the closing performance of the Autumn Cult.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After years of working with experimental composition rooted in musique concr\u00e8te<\/em> techniques, in recent years Daniela Ljungsberg has turned her focus to songwriting, where emotion, daydreaming, and the connection to memory, whether real or imagined, become the raw material for creation. Her previous album revolved around intimate, personal memories, while her current project, now in progress, blends ancient instruments and electronics within contemporary \u201cpop-like\u201d compositions. Alongside these, she weaves sound worlds of granular analog synths, field recordings, random acoustic instruments and unique vocal processing. All of this will be presented for the first time in a full-band performance, together with Avraham Kober and Amit Dagim, featuring songs from her album I Do Care as well as new material from her forthcoming album due in spring 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniela Ljungsberg is a composer, vocalist, and sound artist, and a graduate of the New Music Department at Musrara. Since 2019, she has released four albums with labels in Israel and Europe. She performs solo, as part of the duo IMMA with Itzik Avizohar, and in collaborations on stages such as Rhiz (Vienna), the Hishtarshut Festival, Madame Claude and Fabriktheater (Berlin), Paris Fashion Week, and more. In addition, Daniela composes music for short films, installations, and dance performances, including works by choreographer May Zarhy, which have been presented at festivals such as the Holland Dance Festival, Chemnitz Dance Festival, Intimadance, Suzanne Dellal, and the CCA.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
