A Secret Visit to the Templar Cemetery
On Emek Refaim Street, behind a green gate, the Templar cemetery has been hidden away for over a century. All day long, the cemetery’s keeper holds the keys. But what is there to guard in a cemetery? After all, no one is going anywhere…
What truly needs protection are the stories and memories.
The performance The Vanishing Stories is a delicate yet courageous opportunity to explore the theme of loss or absence. With humor, sensitivity, and tenderness, children and parents are invited to wander through tales of memory, longing, and love.
On our journey together, we will hear stories: about the grandfather who kept all his memories in his pocket, the miller who baked bread from longing, and the taven owner who could uncover the most beautiful stories from everyone.
Together, we will also learn to tell our own stories, listen to the stories of our parents and children, and discover that each of us can become a keeper of stories.
