Through a rough, un-hierarchical encounter between light, sound, body and
material – a fictional, synthetic nature is being built, aspiring to function as a
“visual drone”, a stethoscope which listens to the pulse of a certain living environment.
This is a vague gaze upon an obscure happening which holds an invitation: to establish a new ground in “areas of minimum” – of body, rustle, expression, relations and transfiguration. (Outside of language, in the intimacy of theater, the meaning of passivity, absence, action and non-action, are being expanded, embodied, and re-experienced.)
Nature of the Beast is a pausing site, performing landscape. End of a night, end of a bonfire, dawn.
Eynav Rosolio is a visual theater director and performer, creating aesthetic conditions for listening and observing different human states of matter, by using light, video, sound and body. Eynav is dealing with corporal identity and nostalgia, as themes by which she can react to her local context.
